Race Comments

1Annapolis to Miles River:
Very light air and only two boats racing in the PHRF CD category, so we took the long course.  The RC shortened the course at F in the Eastern Bay, thankfully.

2Miles River Race Back:
Only two boats raced over, and both declined to race back.  It was a great cruise in good air at the beginning of the day, but ended up being a "motor home" kind of day.

3Dun Cove Pursuit Race:
Kristin sailed an inspired race, almost winning the line honors!

4Shearwater Twilight Race:
Wow, what perfect sailing conditions! The RC set a perfect course in building winds.  Starting the race in 9 knots of wind and building to 16 at the finish, it was a true Twilight race as the finishers sailed into a perfect sunset at the finish line.  I wish more races would be like this!

5WRSC Poplar Island Race:
Only one boat entered, and it was a rainy and windless day, so that boat didn't go out.

6Corsica River Race

7Corsica River Race Back
    R
ather than wait for the RC to start the race in the expected very light air, we started ourselves and informally raced back to the bridge.  It was a nice sail.
